Where have I been?
Busy as hell, is where. But yesterday, I celebrated the end of a major chapter in my life as a physician: the end of residency. 4yrs of medical school and 3yrs of residency later, I am now out on my own for real. The challenge now begins - no more safety nets, no more hovering supervisors - it's now time to practice the medicine I think is the right medicine, to make decisions and judgements on my own.
It's going to be pretty nerve-wracking at first, I know. But I'm looking forward to it.
P.S. The vast salary jump doesn't hurt either!
